I understand that we are all struggling with everything that is impacting our lives and communities this year.
All of this turmoil has lead to many emotional and financial struggles for ourselves, our families, or our friends. In many instances, it has also lead to donation fatigue, with what at times feels like everyone reaching out for something.
It is with this understanding that I humbly reach out to ask you to help support the Salvation Army and its cause. The organization is so much more than a homeless shelter. It provides safe havens for displaced families, provides utility payments for those in need, provides food and clothing to the community for families in need, and provides rehabilitation for those with substance abuse challenges that allows them to get back on their feet, along with many other services.
Due to COVID restrictions, most of the traditional fundraising activities have been restricted, modified, or completely eliminated. So while the demand for services is at an all-time high, the proceeds coming in to cover the cost is quite limited.
As a board member and employer of several graduates of the rehabilitation program, I ask that you please consider helping me support The Salvation Army by making a donation through my page. The process is fast, easy, and secure. Thanks so much for your support… and please don’t forget to send this page to any friends you think might be interested in donating!
