Super Sphere Expansion Joints
The 530 SUPER SPHERE Expansion Joint can easily replace and interchange with hand built, molded and spherical expansion joints.
As a member of the Non-Metallic Expansion Joint Division of the Fluid Sealing Association, Holz designed and manufactures the 530 SUPER SPHERE to combine the advantages of many other types/sizes of expansion joints and for application in HVAC, Chemical, Petrochemical, Marine, Power Plants, Pulp & Paper, Process Piping Systems, Water/Wastewater Treatment and Steel Mill Industries.

530 SUPER SPHERE BENEFITS
Spherical Arch
Utilizes a "flowing arch" design which provides more movement in comparison to
narrow or filled arch/spool-type joints. The "flowing arch" is also self-cleaning,
which makes it a perfect choice for slurries and turbulence reduction. It also
eliminates the requirement for specifying a "filled arch".
Increased Flexibility
• 30% increased compression movement
• 15% reduction in spring rates compared to standard expansion joints.

Improved Sealing
A full-faced rubber flange reinforced with fabric provides optimum sealing. Other
competitive products are molded and sometimes only have a small lip/bead area
for sealing.

Weighs up to 50% less - for ease of handling and reduced freight!
Less Cost
Exclusive synthetic, high tensile radial cord matrix is used in manufacturing
the 530 SUPER SPHERE. Our proprietary construction eliminates the need
for internal metal body rings while still providing adequate pressure and vacuum
ratings.
